iPad
You can record the camera (audio and video), but not any other apps like powerpoint or the screen.
You can also join a session started from a PC or Mac which means the iPad will be an extra audio/video source for the Panopto recording.

Android
The Android app is limited to uploading existing video files taken with a camera app. You can also view Panopto recordings through the app.
