You can upload a profile picture to blackboard. If you do a small thumb nail picture will be added to all you Discussion Board and blog posts next to your name
To upload a profile picture, go to The Course Recourses home page in the top right corner you will see your name and a blank profile picture.
Click on the arrow next to your name to open a tool panel then open the Setting tab
In the setting tab click on Personal information
Then click on Personalise My Settings
Click on the brows button to choose a picture from you computer to upload as your avatar image (profile picture) then click submit
Your profile picture will now display next to your name in blackboard
